Isaac Gelin is a multi-talented artist who revels in the daily struggles of life and uses tradition and a strong belief in middle-class values to propel him forward. Often daunting, Gelin relies heavily on his surroundings and derives inspiration from life experiences. His work aims to emulate drama and find poetic meanings in the struggles of mankind. Through metaphor, Gelin emits a cold and latent violence, causing meanings to shift, past and present to fuse. His works are visions that reflect a sense of indisputable serene contemplation, the odd or the eccentric. Gelin currently resides and works in Canada.
